From 2020 to Fall of 2024 SCSOAR hosted a substance use Intervention Team.  Effective October 2024, this team was merged with the Surry County Mobile Integrated Heath Team to create a Post Overdose Response Team.  This evidenced based model is now housed within the Surry County Emergency Medical Services.
